The fact that this works via CD but not via PXE for one specific model has me very confused. SMSPXE.log shows the same activity on Dell 360's as T40's. Because its not ever reaching a task sequence or advertisement, no logs are being generated that I have found. No changes to anything, go to an IBM T40 and everything works. I enabled command prompt support and booted up via the CD and confirmed network drivers are installed, I have an IP address and I can reach the SCCM server. Using the up and down arrow keys on your keyboard, highlight FixMeStick Failsafe 1 and press the Enter or Return key on your keyboard. If I create a bootable CD using the exact same boot image and task sequence I'm able to build the system without any issue. Keep tapping the space bar while your computer is restarting, until you see the FixMeStick Failsafe 1 and FixMeStick Failsafe 2 options on the upper-left-hand corner of the screen on a black screen: 11. When the progress bar completes, the screen goes black and nothing else happens. However, with the Dell Precision 360's (I have tried multiple machines) when I PXE boot, I get past the second F12, it starts to download and shows the 'Windows is loading files' screen and progress bar.
I have captured a CD, advertised it and all that fun stuff and I can deploy to other models via PXE without any issues. Hello all, I'm having a strange issue with one specific model machine, the Dell Precision 360.
